Robert Beets is a science communication professional and association management consultant living in Maryland near Washington, DC in the U.S. He is a graduate of the UW–Madison’s Life Sciences Communication department, and he has advanced the programs and practices of science organizations in the fields of health, agriculture, forestry, conservation, and education.

Ruqaiya currently works as an Account Executive at Prime, a global medical communications company. She graduated from Barnard College at Columbia University in May 2025 with her Bachelor’s of Art in Neuroscience and Behavior Studies and a double minor in Science and Public Policy and Asian and Middle Eastern Cultures. Ruqaiya is passionate about the intersection of neuroscience, ethics, and society and aims to utilize effective communication to bring awareness to and increase knowledge in these fields.
