Registrants switching from in-person attendance to online participation are not eligible for a partial refund, except in the cases listed below.
If your participation in the conference relies on travel funding from your institution or being issued a travel visa, we strongly recommend not paying for registration until this approval is secured.
Refunds
Partial refunds will only be considered in the following cases:
- Abstract Not Accepted – Scholars whose research abstract is not accepted to the conference have the option to cancel their registration and receive a partial refund (80% refunded).
- Visa Application Denied – Scholars whose travel visa applications are denied have the option to switch from in-person attendance to online participation and receive a partial refund (the difference in price refunded).
If you meet one of these cases mentioned above, email INS staff <staff@neuroethicssociety.org> to cancel your registration and/or request a refund. All eligible refund requests must be received no later than March 1, 2027. Absolutely no refunds will be issued after March 15, 2027.

If these efforts do not resolve the issues, we can provide a unique link to make a payment directly via Stripe. Email INS staff <staff@neuroethicssociety.org> if you are unable to pay online.
Invoices
You can complete the registration form and request that an invoice be emailed to you as an attachment. Please note that the link to pay the open invoice is not included in the confirmation email. Email INS staff staff@neuroethicssociety.org if this link has not been forwarded to you.
